Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal sat down with MMAWeekly.com recently to talk about Strikeforce, Internet haters and the possibility of fighting in the UFC.
Lawal was defeated for the first time in his career by Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante in August 2010. Since that bout, he has undergone surgery to repair a serious knee injury.
He was expected to make his long-awaited return against Roger Gracie on the July 30 Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson card, but Gracie was forced off the card with a stress fracture to a lingering injury.
The bout has been rescheduled for the September 10 card, which will also include the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Semifinals.
