Fedor Emelianeno Talks: Dan Henderson, Retirement and UFC-Strikeforce Deal

Regardless of what happens on Saturday night, there will never be another fighter like Fedor Emelianenko.

The soft-spoken MMA legend recently spoke with Ariel Helwani of MMAfighting.com about his decision to keep fighting, his upcoming Strikeforce bout with Dan Henderson, and fighting under the Zuffa banner.

Coming off back-to-back losses to Antonio Silva and Fabricio Werdum, Emelianenko is at a crossroads in his professional career. A loss to Henderson could mean an end to one of the most fascinating careers in all of sports.

The former Pride heavyweight champion was virtually undefeated for an entire decade. While he's never had the domineering physique of a Brock Lesnar or Alistair Overeem, the eerie aura surrounding Emelianenko is enough to send chills down any grown man's spine.

For fans, it has been astonishing to see Emelianenko easily dispatch of world class opposition and a multitude of other gargantuan foes over the years.

Against Henderson, Emelianenko finally faces an opponent of similar size.

Will size even be a factor?

Saturday's Strikeforce event could be a historic night. It could be the last time we ever see "The Last Emperor" step into the cage.
