UFC 134 Results: Reaction from Rousimar Palhares vs Dan Miller

Rousimar Palhares and Dan Miller touch gloves in Rio de Janeiro to begin their middleweight matchup.

Getting the better of the early exchanges, Palhares blasts Miller with a right hand, followed up with a knee to the stomach early in Round 1.

Palhares lays off Miller, seemingly confused by Herb Dean's verbal instructions. Allowing the Brazilian to re-establish himself on Miller, Palhares continues to punish his American counterpart.

With Round 1 ending in confusion, the two middleweight competitors battle out the round.

Round 2 begins with the same torrid pace that ended Round 1. Miller battles off of his back, attempting various submission holds on the Brazilian.

Muscling out of the submissions, Palhares delivers powerful elbows and punches in return to Miller's face. Bleeding from above his left eye, Miller is attempting to slow down the Brazilian's pace.

Palhares continues to deliver devastating shots as the American attempts to squirm away. Round 2 ends in the Brazilian's favor.

Round 3 continued much like the previous two. Palhares continues to control Miller and deliver successful strikes as his counterpart attempts to survive throughout the bout.

Earning a unanimous decision victory, Palhares dominates Miller throughout the entire matchup.

A strong competitor within the middleweight division, Palhares will look to climb ever so closely towards the top 10 of this challenging weight class.

Conversely, Dan Miller was out-fought, out-skilled, and suffering one more defeat, will be out of a job in the UFC.

I welcome your comments.
